Claude, made by Anthropic, is one of the strongest AI assistants for reasoning, writing and coding, and it can now browse in your Chrome, use your computer and run scheduled tasks. Prompteryx is an automation platform that can run Claude models inside workflows you can see, edit and replay without AI costs, on cloud browsers or your own Chrome.
Facts about Claude checked on 25 October 2026 from its own website and documentation. Sources are at the end of the page.
Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant, on the web, desktop (macOS and Windows) and mobile. Claude in Chrome is an extension for paid plans that lets Claude browse in your own Chrome; you can record a workflow, save it as a shortcut and schedule it. The desktop app's Cowork mode has a built-in browser and can use your computer. Scheduled tasks run in Anthropic's cloud even when your laptop is closed, started by a schedule (at most hourly), an API call or a GitHub event. Claude connects to apps through connectors: its directory lists over 1,000. Anthropic created the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and developers can use computer use, Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK. Plans: Free, Pro ($20 a month, or $17 billed yearly), Max (from $100 a month), Team and Enterprise.
A successful Prompteryx run can be saved as a workflow that replays its browser steps without calling an AI model. Claude's shortcuts and scheduled tasks use the model, and your plan's usage, on every run.
Visual Studio shows every step of a workflow on a drag-and-drop canvas with 80+ browser actions, branches, loops and app steps, so you can see and change exactly what runs. In Claude, you describe the task and the model decides the steps each time.
Prompteryx runs browsers in the cloud with residential proxies, automatic CAPTCHA solving and a video of each run, so browser workflows keep going with your computer off. Claude's browsers (Claude in Chrome and the Cowork browser) run on your own computer.
Prompteryx's chat and workflows can use Claude models alongside GPT and Gemini, or let Auto choose. Prompteryx's MCP server also lets Claude start Prompteryx workflows and cloud browser tasks.

Claude is an outstanding assistant, and it is increasingly able to act: browsing in your Chrome, using your computer and running scheduled tasks in the cloud. Prompteryx is built for the browser work that repeats: a run becomes a workflow you can see and edit, it replays without AI costs, and it runs on cloud browsers with proxies, CAPTCHA solving and recordings. You don't have to choose: Prompteryx can use Claude models, and Claude can call Prompteryx through MCP.
Yes. Claude in Chrome (on paid plans) lets Claude browse in your own Chrome, and you can save a recorded workflow as a shortcut and schedule it. The Claude desktop app's Cowork mode has a built-in browser and can use your computer. These browsers run on your own computer (checked 25 October 2026).
Yes. Claude's scheduled tasks run in Anthropic's cloud, even with your laptop closed, and can be started by a schedule (at most hourly), an API call or a GitHub event. They use the model on each run. A saved Prompteryx workflow replays its browser steps without calling a model.
Yes, in two ways. Pick a Claude model in Prompteryx's chat or in workflow AI steps. Or connect Prompteryx's MCP server to Claude, so Claude can start Prompteryx workflows and cloud browser tasks (setup: prompteryx.ai/mcp-setup).
Anthropic created the Model Context Protocol in November 2024 and gave it to the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation in December 2025. Claude connects to apps through MCP connectors, and Prompteryx offers an MCP server Claude can use.
