What is Perplexity Comet?
Comet is a free Chromium-based web browser from Perplexity for Mac, Windows, Android and iOS. Its assistant can answer questions about the page, summarise, and carry out tasks in your browser; Perplexity Pro and Max raise the assistant's limits, and Max (from $200 a month) gets the highest browser-agent limits. Comet imports bookmarks, passwords, cookies and history from Chrome, so you stay signed in. Perplexity accounts can add connectors, including custom MCP connectors on paid plans. Comet for Enterprise adds admin policies, audit logs and SOC 2 Type II. Perplexity's separate Computer product runs scheduled tasks in the cloud.

Can Prompteryx work with my existing logins?
Yes. Prompteryx Desktop (Windows, beta) runs the agent in your own Chrome profile with the sites you are already signed in to. Comet does something similar by importing your cookies and passwords from Chrome into the Comet browser.
