    3. Zapier

    Zapier

    Start Prompteryx workflows from any Zap and get the result back in another Zap, with Webhooks by Zapier

    Uses Webhooks by Zapier
    A Prompteryx app in Zapier's directory is not available yet, so searching "Prompteryx" in Zapier finds nothing. The built-in Webhooks by Zapier app (a premium app on Zapier's paid plans) does the job today.
    1. Run a Prompteryx workflow from a Zap
    Action: Webhooks by Zapier → Custom Request

    Create a key in Cloud Platform → API → API Keys (starts with px_live_). The workflow id is in its Visual Studio URL.

    • Method: POST
    • URL: https://www.prompteryx.ai/api/v1/workflows/WORKFLOW_ID/execute
    • Headers: Authorization | Bearer px_live_YOUR_KEY and Content-Type | application/json
    • Data (map fields from earlier steps into it):
    {
      "variables": { "email": "<map the email field here>" },
      "options": { "runMode": "headless" },
      "webhookUrl": "https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/YOUR/HOOK/"
    }

    The response arrives at once with data.execution.id; the run itself takes longer than a Zap step may wait, so the result comes back through the callback in step 2.

    2. Receive the result in a second Zap
    Trigger: Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook
    1. Create a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook as the trigger and copy its URL.
    2. Use that URL as webhookUrl in step 1, run it once, then click Test trigger so Zapier sees a sample.
    3. Map data__outputs__…, data__status or event into later steps (Slack, Gmail, Sheets…). Add a Filter on event = workflow.completed to skip failures.

    Callbacks are signed with X-Prompteryx-Signature-256 (details in Webhooks). Zapier's Catch Hook cannot check signatures, so keep the hook URL private, or use Catch Raw Hook plus a Code by Zapier step to verify.

    3. Without an API key: the workflow's webhook trigger

    Add a Webhook Trigger node to the Prompteryx workflow and choose its authentication (for example a secret in X-Webhook-Secret). Then use Webhooks by Zapier → POST:

    URL      https://www.prompteryx.ai/api/v1/webhooks/WORKFLOW_ID
    Payload  json
    Data     email = <mapped field>, action = process
    Headers  X-Webhook-Secret = your_workflow_secret

    30 calls a minute per caller IP; each call counts as a workflow run.

    AI browser agent tasks from Zapier

    Agent runs take minutes and are advanced by repeated calls, which Zaps cannot loop over. Put the task in a workflow instead: run it once through the API with "saveAsWorkflow": true, or add an AI Browser Agent node to a workflow on the canvas, then start that workflow from Zapier as in step 1 and get the answer through the callback.

    Endpoint details: Run the AI browser agent, Run workflows, REST API reference.
