Scroll Nodes
Browser NodeScroll the page or elements into view
Overview
Scroll nodes help you navigate pages and bring elements into the visible viewport. There are several scroll-related nodes depending on your needs.

Parameters
Configuration options for this node
Element SelectorSelector
Required

Configuration options for this node

100When to Use
Scroll to Element
- Before clicking/interacting with off-screen elements
- To trigger lazy-loaded content
- To ensure screenshots capture the right section
Mouse Wheel Scroll
- Infinite scroll pages (LinkedIn, Twitter feeds)
- Custom scrollable containers
- Pages that load more content on scroll
Usage Examples
Example 1: Scroll to Footer
Bring footer into view before clicking
Workflow sequence:
- Scroll to Element: footer
- Click: footer a[href="/contact"]
Example 2: Load Infinite Scroll
Scroll multiple times to load more content
Workflow pattern (in a loop):
- Mouse Wheel Scroll: Vertical Scroll (deltaY) = 800
- Wait: 1000ms (for content to load)
- Extract items from page
- Repeat until desired count
Example 3: Lazy Load Images
Scroll to trigger lazy image loading
Workflow sequence:
- Scroll to Element: .image-gallery
- Wait: 500ms (for images to load)
- Screenshot Element: .image-gallery
Best Practices
Add Wait After Scroll
Many pages load content dynamically after scrolling. Add a short wait or Wait for Element after scrolling to ensure content is fully loaded.
Click Often Scrolls Automatically
The Click node usually scrolls elements into view automatically. You only need explicit Scroll to Element for screenshots or special cases.
